Joy joined Mungia Real Estate in 2020 and has played a pivotal leadership role in charting its successful course. Having worn many hats within the brokerage as transaction manager, compliance manager, system administrator, trainer, and broker support, Joy has made a significant impact on how the brokerage does business. As a key contributor to the unique culture, her oversight and solution-oriented management of daily operations is the backbone of the happy team. Helping transform the brokerage from a team of two in October of 2020 to a team of 10 in less than 2 years, Joy  holds the title of Director of Operations for this unstoppable up and coming brokerage.


Joy’s positive energy and business acumen has helped position the innovative brokerage for thoughtful strategic growth. Her solid execution of systems and operations has enabled her to expand her leadership across the brokerage in meaningful ways. In addition to developing strategic and operational plans she oversees all aspects of the unique Agent Academy training program exclusive to Mungia Real Estate.


In addition to heading the Agent Academy at Mungia Real Estate, Joy teaches Code of Ethics at Austin Board of Realtors®.  Joy is passionate about agent collaboration and regularly advocates this every opportunity she gets with fellow agents and students.  She believes this unity will raise the bar in real estate client care.  


Prior to operations and teaching, for several years Joy enjoyed a very successful career as a multi-million dollar producer before obtaining her Instructor license in 2019. It was at that time that she embraced education, technology and brokerage operations.  Her experience as an agent for many years was instrumental in successfully implementing solutions from an agent perspective and allows her to continue growing and cultivating successful programs.
